She took her time
The idea
Our most intricate piece to date began with an idea.
It started on paper, in our own studio, with a simple question: how much detail can a dress carry and still feel effortless? Early sketches explored where the embellishment should sit, how it would catch the light, and how it could frame the bodice and trace the hem.
The aim was never more for the sake of it. Every motif had to earn its place, adding texture and dimension while letting the silhouette stay clean and timeless.
The placement
Every shape. Every placement. Every detail considered.
Every appliqué on this mini is placed by hand. The floral embellishments are arranged across the bodice and along the hem, each one positioned so the pattern reads as a whole rather than a scattering of detail. It's a timeless craft, and it can't be rushed.
The handwork
Hand-finished, with every detail considered.
Each embellishment is finished by hand so it sits flat and secure against the dress, with every edge neat and every bead in place. It's slow, careful work, because on a piece this detailed, anything less would show.
What you see on the finished dress is the result of that patience: detail that looks effortless because of the care behind it.
The creation
Bringing the beaded artwork to life.
The embellishment sits on a structured base, cut with a refined square neckline, short sleeves and our signature waist cinch. The base has to carry the weight of the detail without pulling or puckering, so the fit and the finish are considered together from the first sample. It closes with a discreet back zip to keep the front of the dress uninterrupted.
The reveal
She took her time. The Appliqué Mini.
The result is a small dress with a great deal of work in it. Every piece carries the time and hands behind it, finished for the occasions that call for something special.
