I’m extremely disappointed with my experience with Odd Muse. I purchased two dresses IN PERSON from their NYC store on August 5, 2026. After returning home to Toronto, I decided I didn’t love one of the dresses as much as I thought, so I mailed it back for a return on Aug12, 2026

I was then told that my return was being refused because the dress allegedly had a stain AND was missing the “Do Not Remove” tag. Here’s the problem: I have never wear the dress, the product tag is still on.**NEITHER of the two dresses I purchased from the NYC store had a “Do Not Remove” tag attached when they were sold to me.** I didn’t remove the tag—it was never there in the first place.

I purchased these dresses directly from an Odd Muse store and trusted that I was being sold brand-new merchandise in proper condition. If a dress is now being considered unacceptable for return because it doesn’t have a tag that was already missing when the store sold it to me, how was I supposed to know? It also raises a very concerning question for me: was I sold merchandise that had previously been worn, tried on extensively, or returned?

As an international customer who physically shopped at the NYC location and then paid to send the dress back from Toronto, this has been incredibly frustrating. I expected much better customer service and quality control from a brand at this price point. I genuinely hope Odd Muse and its…
