How Odd Muse Planned Their First NYC Pop-Up Store
Odd Muse IRL goes international…
Our first-ever international pop-up store is coming to Soho, New York and muses this might just be the biggest thing our little big brand has ever done. PS. muses, if you didn’t already know, the majority of our OG community was from the US, (not to mention it’s one of our social team’s go-to for location shoots), four years into Odd Muse we’re all in our dream come true eras that this is happening. New York muses, this is the start of something special…
So muses, how did we plan our pop-up and what can you expect?
1) Manifesting the ultimate muse location
If you watch our YouTube channel, you’ll know that this time last year when shooting in NYC, our Founder Aimee was manifesting this location while strolling the streets of Soho, pinching herself at the thought of seeing Odd Muse and our signature pink on the glass windows of one of the store buildings. Now in divine timing, New Yorkers, you can find Odd Muse at 55 Mercer Street. (We must be working our way through the angel numbers, with our London store sitting at 44 Monmouth Street.) The space alone is in fact 20x bigger than our London Flagship and muses we’ve got the stock to fill it…
2) Hiring our first-ever NYC team
In October we finally gave a sneak peek to our muses (not that our Founder hadn’t already hinted) to what was to come walking the streets of Soho with our hiring sign, there’s nothing we won’t do for the content. Our first time hiring internationally outside of our London home so our muses can man the pop-up.
3) The collab you never knew you needed…
We had to collab with our favourites, Leons Bagels for opening morning on the 9th of November 2024. Tried and tested by the social team on their NYC trips, it is ultimately Odd Muse’s favourite classic New York bagels. Expect your pick of bagels to celebrate our opening morning.
4) Expect special exclusives for our New Yorkers
Call us Taylor Swift because we have our very own merch muses. In our, been there, done that, got the T-shirt to prove it era. We will have limited edition T-shirts with embroidered, ‘Odd Muse, Soho, NY’ to mark the monumental memory for our muses, not to mention exclusive stickers including one of our Founder’s very own Oddie. And as one more exclusive treat for our NYC muses, you will be able to shop Party Drop 2 in the pop-up before it is available worldwide online or even hits our hometown store.
5) OM HQ takes NYC
While we wish we could fly out the whole Odd Muse HQ to NYC, we will still be bringing some of our team to set up the pop-up, and of course to meet and chat with our NYC muses.
