Odd Muse here and we have the biggest news ever, Pre-Fall is officially launching in just one week. Consider your fall wardrobe complete with our new chocolate brown hue and olive shade, from our very first shift dress to our midi dress reimagined, prepare to fall for this collection, muses. To celebrate the launch, we’re taking you behind the scenes as our social team spills all on shooting our pre-fall campaign…

A typical Odd Muse studio shoot day begins with our social team, Kiera and Sophie welcoming the hair and makeup artist, photographer and models, setting up props and steaming clothes for the day before heading out for an important coffee run. The day dives into shooting images for the website and socials while capturing all the BTS content for our muses. There was a lot of experimenting taking place as a new editorial vision was brought to life, creating something a little different and even more demure for our muses. Content Creation Assistant, Sophie explains, “This shoot was the first 'extra studio shoot' we have done where essentially we were able to be a little more editorial with our shots and focus more on the aesthetic, we really tried to embody our inner Pinterest girl lol.” A favourite moment of the whole day was watching this come to life, adds Social Media Executive, Kiera, “It's so different for us, especially with this whole new shoot concept in a studio, but seeing everyone's hard work pull off & the vision comes to life will always be magical.”

While Kiera captures the BTS of Aimee and the shoot, Sophie ensures the models are ready to take to the camera while overlooking the shots for marketing deliverables and TikTok content, Sophie adds, “When it comes to shoots I really do embrace my inner Aimee Smale and get all creative director on people.”

“Seeing the model's first reactions to the clothes is definitely my favourite moment of any shoot as not only do we get excited as it is all finally coming to life but knowing that the girls are also feeling so good in Odd Muse is just the cherry on top, It makes the shots even better when the models actually feel slay in their outfit.”

The afternoon was spent bringing together Hevean Mayhem and Odd Muse for a second (yes, a second) collaboration. All the way from LA, Pia Mance and Aimee Smale joined creative forces in the studio. Shooting BTS Founder content from a Q&A to capturing them in the fall collection with of course our latest exclusive olive earrings. “It was incredible to have Pia on set with the team, and the content really came to life. The energy in the studio was insane, and it was so inspiring to hear Pia's story IRL.” explains Kiera.

Favourites always form on set seeing the collection in action for the first time, for Kiera that moment occurred when Naomi stepped out in the new brown set, “Seeing Naomi in the brown set was just WOWWW. When I got home to look over all my content I gasped at her images. The set really slayed.” For Sophie, it had to be the minis, “I knew they would all slay but seeing all three models in the mini dresses really was amazing as they literally looked like an OM girl band. The colours on every girl was just perfection and the fact that the dress flattered each girl so much makes it so exciting to show customers x also the earrings are my favourite pair by a mile.”
