A Year With Your Favourite Fashion Brand
As our Founder would say, ‘Go big or go home’...
2024 has undoubtedly been our biggest year in this little big brand, with the most crazy milestones and dream moments to date. From Molly Mae serving Odd Muse at her Wimbledon debut to taking Odd Muse IRL international for the first time in NYC. We couldn’t have done it without our muses, and every single one of these milestone moments is a credit to our community. So muses, let’s take a look back on 2024…
OM First Ever Sample Sale
Starting the year off strong following our corporate and Valentine’s capsule collections, we took on our muse's feedback and brought you a sample sale. With our Founder, expecting a small turnout, we were reminded just how much the girlies love Odd Muse, as you queued for hours from as early as 5 am. Leaving the entire team feeling so lucky for the OM community, as our Founder and HQ came to meet you in the line and in-store.
Our Marketing Manager, Leona recalls it as her favourite moment of the entire year, “this was a chance for us to see the scale and size of OM community IRL (which doesn't happen often for an Ecom-based brand or when working BTS which I do). We expected a great turn out at the Sample Sale, maybe 100 or 200 people. In reality, +2000 people showed up and travelled from everywhere across the UK just for a chance to meet Aimee & get their hands on some OM pieces. We also reference it a lot in office.”
Pearl Dress Renaissance
Back in 2022, our iconic pearl dress changed the trajectory of our little big brand forever. However, with the fabric being thicker, our sizing was off and the dress wasn’t for everyone. With this feedback we didn’t give up and discontinue this timeless piece, instead, we were happy to learn, in order to make our clothes for EVERYONE, working tirelessly for a year to perfect the fit, tired and tested on 100 beautiful women and in April 2024 we re-launched her. In true Odd Muse girlhood style, we took an army of our muses to Covent Garden to show them the new piece and have a photo shoot with our very own muses.
Resort Reached New Heights
Our biggest and most anticipated collection of the year was beyond what we could have ever hoped for. Over 11,000 of you signed up for Drop One and some muses across the globe set alarms for 4 am and sold us out within two minutes. We quite literally broke the internet. We celebrated the second drop of Resort by offering our muses a taste of the collection outside our Covent Garden store with our very own ice cream cart, not to mention another 10,000 you signed up to shop the second time around. Introducing our new best-selling midi which took our whole custom by storm. Muses, you make us feel like the luckiest community in the world!
Wimbledon Takeover and THE muse, Molly Mae!
It really was the summer of Odd Muse, as drop three of Resort landed in the hands of the ultimate muse, Miss Molly Mae. Not to mention, Odd Muse took over Wimbledon with the right collection at the right time, unintentionally, that’s the timeless power of our collections and our community. Molly made her Wimbledon debut sporting our Ultimate Muse Collar Maxi Dress, looking chic courtside in the dress that epitomises timeless tennis core.
Our first international pop-up in NYC
We ended 2024 by flying to the US to open our first-ever international pop-up store. Opening day saw queues around the block with people arriving ahead of opening time. It’s fair to say it was a pretty surreal experience for Aimee and the entire team seeing such a dream vision come to life. One that is in fact, PR Executive, Hannah’s favourite moment of the year, “It was so amazing to be a part of such an iconic and groundbreaking project for the brand and it made me so beyond proud to be a part of the most hard-working team ever. To see NYC muses show up for us on opening day was the most amazing feeling and it really proves that we have created the best community all over the world and I can't wait to see where Odd Muse lands next! P.S. NYC Muses we’re still open!
