This policy explains how your personal information is collected, used and shared when you visit or make a purchase from oddmuse.co.uk.

1. What we collect
Device information
When you visit the site, we automatically collect details about your device, including your browser, IP address, time zone, and cookies, along with the pages you view, how you got here, and how you interact with the site.
This is gathered through:
- Cookies, small data files with a unique identifier. Read more at allaboutcookies.org.
- Log files, which record actions on the site such as IP address, browser type, and timestamps.
- Web beacons, tags and pixels, which note how you browse the site.
Order information
When you make or attempt a purchase, we collect your name, billing and shipping addresses, payment details, email address, and phone number.
2. How we use it
Order information is used to fulfil your order (processing payment, arranging shipping, and sending invoices or confirmations), to communicate with you, to screen for risk or fraud, and to send you offers aligned with your preferences.
Device information helps us screen for risk and fraud, and to understand and improve the site through analytics on how customers browse and interact with it.
3. Sharing & advertising
Who we share with
We share personal information with third parties who help us run the site: Shopify powers our store, Google Analytics helps us understand site usage, and Rakuten Advertising runs our affiliate programme. You can read their own privacy policies at shopify.com/legal/privacy, google.com/policies/privacy, and rakutenadvertising.com/privacy-policy.
We may also share your information to comply with the law, respond to legal requests, or protect our rights.
Behavioural advertising
We use your information to show ads or marketing we think may interest you. You can read more about how this works at networkadvertising.org, and opt out through Facebook, Google, or the Digital Advertising Alliance.
Do not track
Our data collection and use don't change in response to a "do not track" signal from your browser.
4. Your rights & choices
If you're a European resident, you have the right to access, correct, update, or request deletion of your personal information. Contact us using the details below to exercise these rights.
We process your information to fulfil contracts and pursue legitimate business interests, and it may be transferred outside Europe as part of that.
If you withdraw an order electronically
We process the personal data needed to handle your withdrawal, such as your name, contact details, and order number. This is based on Article 6(1)(b) GDPR, and is kept only as long as needed to process the withdrawal and meet our legal retention obligations.
5. Retention & changes
We retain order information unless you request its deletion after placing an order.
This policy may be updated from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, or for operational, legal, or regulatory reasons.
